Kunal Kapoor has launched MetaGO, a doctor-led metabolic health platform offering integrated obesity care through consultations, diagnostics, nutrition guidance, monitoring, and GLP-1 therapies. Co-founded by the team behind Ketto, MetaGO provides personalised treatment plans backed by 35+ biomarkers, addressing obesity and metabolic conditions with continuous medical care rather than short-term fixes.

Actor-entrepreneur Kunal Kapoor has unveiled MetaGO, a new doctor-led metabolic health platform designed to provide integrated obesity care through specialist consultations, diagnostics, nutrition guidance, long-term monitoring, and clinically appropriate GLP-1 therapies. The initiative marks a significant step in addressing the growing demand for evidence-based obesity treatment in India and beyond.

MetaGO has been co-founded by the team behind Ketto, one of India’s leading crowdfunding platforms, and aims to bring a personalised, medically supervised approach to tackling obesity and related metabolic conditions. Unlike short-term weight-loss solutions that often fail to deliver sustainable results, MetaGO focuses on continuous medical care, offering treatment plans backed by more than 35 metabolic biomarkers. This data-driven approach allows doctors to tailor interventions to each individual’s unique health profile, ensuring that care is both precise and effective.

The platform’s integrated model combines multiple aspects of obesity management, including specialist consultations, diagnostic testing, nutrition counselling, and long-term monitoring. By incorporating clinically appropriate GLP-1 therapies—medications that have recently gained global prominence for their effectiveness in weight management—MetaGO positions itself at the forefront of modern obesity care. GLP-1 therapies, which mimic natural hormones to regulate appetite and metabolism, have become a cornerstone of obesity treatment worldwide, and MetaGO’s inclusion of these therapies reflects its commitment to evidence-based practice.

Kapoor’s venture arrives at a time when obesity is increasingly recognised as a complex, chronic condition requiring sustained medical intervention rather than quick fixes. With rising rates of obesity and metabolic disorders globally, platforms like MetaGO are responding to a pressing need for holistic, long-term solutions. The emphasis on continuous care and personalised treatment plans underscores a shift in the healthcare industry towards addressing the root causes of metabolic health issues rather than simply managing symptoms.

MetaGO’s launch also highlights the growing intersection of technology, healthcare, and entrepreneurship in India. By leveraging medical expertise alongside digital tools for monitoring and diagnostics, the platform seeks to make advanced obesity care more accessible and scalable. Kapoor’s involvement adds further visibility to the initiative, potentially encouraging greater public awareness about the importance of medically supervised weight management.

As demand for structured, evidence-based obesity treatment continues to rise, MetaGO’s doctor-led model could set a new benchmark in the sector. Its focus on integrating clinical expertise with modern therapies and personalised care reflects a broader trend towards redefining how obesity and metabolic health are treated, moving away from short-term solutions towards sustainable, long-term wellbeing.

The advertising world mourns the passing of Jishnu Sen, former CEO of Grey India, who died in Bengaluru after a prolonged illness. With a career spanning three decades across agencies, retail and startups, Sen is remembered as a strategist, mentor and industry builder whose influence shaped Indian advertising and beyond.

Jishnu Sen’s career was a masterclass in versatility and vision. Beginning at J Walter Thompson in the 1990s, he quickly established himself as a strategist of rare calibre. His tenure at Young & Rubicam in New York, where he managed Colgate-Palmolive’s Asia-Pacific account, showcased his ability to blend global insight with local nuance. Returning to India, Sen’s defining chapter unfolded at Grey India, where he rose from COO to CEO. Under his leadership, Grey India achieved unprecedented growth, breaking into the top five of the Brand Equity Agency Reckoner rankings for the first time.

Sen’s trajectory was not confined to advertising. He brought his sharp intellect and consumer understanding to retail, serving as Chief Marketing Officer at Big Bazaar. His work there demonstrated his ability to adapt to India’s rapidly evolving retail landscape, marrying data-driven strategy with mass-market appeal. Later, he lent his expertise to startups such as Porter and Dealshare, as well as Bergner India, helping young businesses scale with the same rigour and creativity that defined his agency years.

Tributes from colleagues and industry leaders underline the breadth of his impact. Hari Krishnan of McCann India likened him to “a rare single malt, ageing well,” a nod to his enduring intellect and presence. Malvika Mehra, former Chief Creative Officer at Grey India, recalled his generosity in empowering creative leadership, while his cousin Shubho Sengupta described him as a man of “tremendous life force” who lived fully despite illness. Former colleagues often remembered his mantra: “strategy without passion is just paperwork,” a line that encapsulated his philosophy of blending rigour with energy.

Sen’s legacy lies not only in the campaigns he oversaw or the businesses he helped build, but in the people he mentored. He was known for nurturing talent, encouraging bold ideas, and inspiring teams to think beyond conventional boundaries. His influence extended across advertising, retail innovation and disruptive startups, making him one of the few leaders to straddle multiple worlds with equal ease.

With nearly 35 years of experience, Jishnu Sen leaves behind a legacy that is both professional and personal. He was a strategist, mentor, leader and friend, remembered for his intellect, warmth and ability to inspire. His passing marks the end of an era, but his lessons and energy will continue to resonate across the industry.

BMW has appointed Harris Mok as its new marketing and CRM lead for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, succeeding James Bacon after his six-year tenure. Mok, a seasoned automotive marketer, brings experience from Volkswagen, Kam Lung Motor Group and Dah Chong Hong Holdings, as BMW continues its innovation-driven campaigns across Asia.

BMW has announced the appointment of Harris Mok as its new marketing and CRM lead for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, marking a significant leadership transition in the brand’s regional operations. Mok, who will report directly to Raymond Tan, managing director of BMW, steps into the role following the departure of James Bacon, who has helmed BMW’s marketing operations in the region for nearly six years.

Mok’s promotion reflects his steady rise within BMW Group, where he has served for over four years, most recently as product and price planning manager. His career spans senior marketing roles across several major automotive brands, including Volkswagen Hong Kong, Kam Lung Motor Group and Dah Chong Hong Holdings. This breadth of experience positions him to steer BMW’s marketing and customer relationship strategies at a time when the brand is intensifying its focus on electrification, digital innovation and premium customer engagement.

He succeeds James Bacon, whose tenure is widely credited with strengthening BMW’s market presence in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Under Bacon’s leadership, BMW reclaimed its position as the leading European luxury automotive marque in both markets. He spearheaded the company’s push into electrification, most notably through the creation of Hong Kong’s first all‑electric concept showroom, a pioneering initiative that underscored BMW’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Bacon also championed flagship experiential and sponsorship platforms, including the BMW Hong Kong Derby in partnership with The Hong Kong Jockey Club and cultural collaborations such as Art Basel Hong Kong. His next move is expected to be a senior leadership role at another automotive brand.

The appointment of Mok comes as BMW continues to roll out its global innovation campaign, a series of five short films showcasing the brand’s latest digital technologies and intelligent features. With characteristic BMW humour, the campaign highlights how innovations can make driving more comfortable, relaxed and intuitive. Central to this narrative are the new BMW Symbiotic Drive, the upgraded BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant and the fast‑charging function in the BMW iX3. The films also spotlight in‑car entertainment, including the passenger screen in the BMW i7, reinforcing BMW’s ambition to blend luxury with cutting‑edge technology.

For BMW, the leadership transition signals continuity and renewal. Mok’s appointment ensures that the brand’s marketing strategy remains firmly aligned with its global vision while adapting to the unique dynamics of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. His blend of product expertise and marketing acumen is expected to drive customer engagement and reinforce BMW’s positioning as a leader in premium mobility.

Diageo India is reimagining beverage culture through The Good Craft Co., an experiential platform focused on education, curiosity, and craft. Led by Chief Innovation Officer Vikram Damodaran, the initiative aims to connect consumers with the stories, processes, and future of Indian craft spirits through immersive engagement.

In a country where drinking traditions have long been defined by the final pour, Diageo India is seeking to shift the narrative towards something far more immersive. With the launch of The Good Craft Co. and its flagship Flavour Lab in Bangalore, the company is betting that the future of beverages lies not merely in taste, but in curiosity.

For Vikram Damodaran, the idea was never about what would be served in the glass. Instead, it was about what would linger long after—the questions, the understanding, and the sense of participation. “The drink is only the beginning,” he reflects, positioning the initiative as a response to a broader cultural shift underway across India.

Consumers today, particularly younger and urban audiences, are increasingly drawn to the stories behind what they consume. Provenance, process, and purpose have become as significant as flavour itself. This evolving mindset has given rise to a new kind of leisure—one rooted in learning and experience. It is precisely this intersection that The Good Craft Co. seeks to occupy.

Conceived as a breakthrough “experience home”, the platform brings together India’s growing craft ecosystem under one roof. It is as much about education and advocacy as it is about celebration. Visitors are invited to explore the intricate worlds of fermentation, distillation, blending, and flavour creation—not as distant or technical processes, but as accessible and engaging practices.

At the heart of this vision lies the Flavour Lab in Bangalore, designed as a starting point for discovery. Unlike traditional distilleries or vineyards, which often require travel and prior intent, this urban space lowers the barrier to entry. Here, consumers, creators, and enthusiasts can gather to observe, question, and even participate in the making of craft spirits.

For Damodaran, whose tenure at Diageo India spans over four and a half years, the initiative reflects a broader strategic focus on innovation and ecosystem-building. His career, shaped by diverse industries and a commitment to disruptive market creation, informs an approach that prioritises long-term cultural engagement over short-term consumption.

The Good Craft Co. also marks a significant move for Diageo India as its first global initiative aimed at building a direct bridge to consumers through an experiential model. Rooted in education, empowerment, and community, it signals a shift in how global beverage companies may engage with increasingly discerning markets like India.

As experience-led spaces gain prominence worldwide, the company’s investment underscores a belief that discovery now precedes loyalty. Before visiting a distillery or sampling a premium spirit, consumers want to understand the craft—and to feel part of it.

In that sense, The Good Craft Co. is less a venue and more a philosophy. It reframes beverage culture as an ongoing dialogue between maker and consumer, where every sip carries a story waiting to be explored.

TIME Magazine’s 2026 list of the 100 most influential people features prominent Indian figures alongside global leaders, underscoring India’s rising global stature. The inclusion of Sundar Pichai, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vikas Khanna highlights the country’s growing impact across technology, entertainment, and cuisine on the world stage.

The release of the annual TIME 100 list by TIME Magazine has once again offered a snapshot of the individuals shaping the global narrative, blending political authority, cultural influence, and technological leadership into a single, closely watched roll call.

This year’s list reflects a dynamic and evolving world order, with a notable presence of Indian achievers whose work resonates far beyond national boundaries. Among them is Sundar Pichai, the chief executive of Google, whose stewardship of one of the world’s most powerful technology companies continues to influence digital ecosystems, artificial intelligence development, and global information access.

In the realm of arts and culture, Ranbir Kapoor has been recognised for his sustained impact on cinema, reflecting the growing international footprint of Indian storytelling and the broader appeal of its film industry. Meanwhile, Vikas Khanna, a Michelin-starred chef, represents the rising global appreciation for Indian cuisine, bringing culinary traditions into contemporary global fine dining conversations.

The list also features a roster of prominent global leaders whose decisions carry geopolitical weight. Among them are Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Mark Carney, Xi Jinping, and Benjamin Netanyahu, each representing distinct political trajectories and challenges in an increasingly complex international landscape. The inclusion of Pope Leo XIV further highlights the continued influence of spiritual leadership in shaping global discourse.

Beyond politics and culture, the list acknowledges scientific and exploratory ambition through figures such as Reid Wiseman, who is set to command the Artemis II mission, a critical step in humanity’s renewed push towards lunar exploration.

Together, the names on this year’s TIME 100 list illustrate a world where influence is no longer confined to traditional centres of power. The presence of Indian figures across diverse domains signals a broader shift, with India’s contributions in technology, entertainment, and gastronomy gaining increasing recognition on the global stage.

The move signals Myntra’s intent to reinforce its category leadership as it continues to expand its reach and influence in the sector.
